This is a National Level 3 Award that satisfies the requirements of Ofqual and the Health & Safety Executive Code of Practise. It is a suitable qualification for organisations that identify a need for Emergency First Aid at Work practitioners. The course duration is six contact hours, consisting of practical and theoretical activities. The course can be conducted in one six hour session or two three hour sessions or three two hour sessions to suit your requirements. We are able to deliver this course in daytime, evenings or at weekends to suit. The syllabus covers the following subjects:
Assessment is ongoing, continual assessment and a three year qualification will be issued to those who satisfy the criteria. A maximum of 12 students can be accommodated on this course and must be 14 years of age or older.

Q How do I requalify?
A You need to attend a 1-day EFAW course again in three years time.
Q Is there an option to refresh more frequently, eg cpr and emergency first aid at work certificate
A We can offer you an annual refresher course consisting of three hours on an annual basis to keep skills up to date.
