Welcome to Mercia EMS

We pride ourselves on tailoring our courses to the needs of the customer wherever possible. We are flexible with regard to dates of courses - even conducting courses at weekends and in the evenings. We offer a wide range of regulated courses such as the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course which provides the minimum standard set down by the HSE for First Aid at Work, the 3 day First Aid at Work - which covers additional topics such as medical conditions, poisoning, fractures, soft tissue injuries and more. We offer a one day Emergency Paediatric First Aid course or the two day Paediatric First Aid course which fully meets the requirements of Ofsted and EYFS. We also deliver Basic Life Support and Defibrillator courses for the general public, sports related courses, student first aid (as required by National Curriculum), Mini Medics, and much more.

Our customer base includes manufacturing industries, specialist engineering, schools, airline, logistics, sports, church and youth groups, community associations, parish councils, Environment Agency, motor dealerships, National Grid, and many Small/Medium Enterprises (SME). 

We are registered with Nuco Training and First Aid Awards which ensures that our training is to a very high standard and the qualifications we provide are fully accredited and approved  nationally. We do not offer online courses as we firmly believe that the only way to learn (and be confident in the skills taught) is by direct face-to-face contact with a tutor, using appropriate equipment and materials as may be encountered in a real-life situation.
